Beteavòn, the first and only kosher social kitchen in Italy, has been awarded the 2024 Ambrogino d’Oro Certificate, a prestigious recognition granted by the Municipality of Milan to individuals, associations, and organizations distinguished for their civic and social contributions.
Founded in 2014 by the Lubavitch Jewish movement, Beteavòn operates with the mission of distributing free kosher hot meals to those in need, regardless of religion. The social kitchen is hosted within the Merkos School in Milan and is sustained solely through the generosity of volunteers and benefactors.
A special thanks goes to all the volunteers of Beteavòn, without whom this remarkable achievement would not have been possible. The certificate not only acknowledges their continuous efforts but also inspires them to keep striving to help those in need.
