Bar Mitzvah at the Chabad Center in Rome’s Jewish Ghetto

The Chabad Center in Rome’s Jewish Ghetto, recently inaugurated under the leadership of Rabbi Aharon Michoel (Ronnie) Canarutto, continues to serve as a key point of reference for the local Jewish community. Following the significant donation of a Sefer Torah, the center hosted another meaningful event.

A young boy from a city without a Jewish community celebrated his bar mitzvah here. With the support of Rabbi Ronnie, he had the opportunity to put on tefillin for the first time and be called to the Torah. His parents and relatives, who traveled especially from Israel, joined the celebration.

This event is an example of how the Chabad Center in Rome’s Jewish Ghetto is fulfilling its essential role in strengthening Jewish traditions and fostering a connection among Jews wherever they are.
